T-Shirt Palace in Rocky Ford was recently renovated to showcase the variety of services the business offers. The improvements include a fresh coat of paint on the outside, as well as window decals featuring services, a new sign, and updated awnings.
“We wanted to give the building a facelift to represent the quality of work we can perform in the T-Shirt Palace,” said Astwin Tavizon Almeida, who oversees business operations at the T-Shirt Palace. “The entire agency came together, and we were able to do nearly all the work in-house. People from every department pitched in to paint, clean, and restore the building. We were able to get nearly everything done ourselves, including the printing and installation of the window decals.”
The T-Shirt Palace has been a part of SHG since 2014. Direct to garment printing, machine embroidery, screen printing, are offered at the shop, as the name implies, however, the small business has evolved into far more than t-shirts. Signs, banners, window decals, stickers and more can all be designed and produced on-site.
“The T-Shirt Palace is very unique in a lot of ways. For one, its variety of services contributes to the running of a successful small business; more importantly, though, it is home to one of SHG’s vocational services sites, where SHG clients can learn the trade. While learning the skills associated with T-Shirt customization and design, they also put together their resume, learn about job safety, customer service, and much more,” Tavizon Almeida explained.
With the versatility of the shop, the staff members encourage customers to call or reach out via social media with any special requests or inquiries on capabilities.
“The community of Rocky Ford is important to us, and we will continue to invest resources and expand services as they are needed,” Tavizon Almeida said.
