There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature in Springfield. You can enjoy bird watching on five of the fourteen trails that make up the Colorado Birding Trail, take advantage of hunting and fishing and camping from Carizzo Canyon, Witcher Ranch, Turks Pond or Two Buttes Reservoir, or enjoy the "Rock Art" at Picture Canyon which is on the Colorado/Oklahoma border.
